WILD GOOSE FARM

The Farm offers two levels of membership – Basic and Builder

Note: Due to COVID-19 we are not currently able to offer workshops and events. We are pleased that members will be able to use the grounds for outdoor activities while practicing social distancing or taking part in Wild and Free or River Valley Nature School.  We have reduced our 2020 membership to reflect these changes.

BASIC membership is $60 per family or $30 for an individual per year.  As a basic member you will have access to the grounds for year-round outdoor recreation either independently (subject to prior approval) or through the Wild and Free homeschool group meetups or River Valley Nature School sessions.

BUILDER memberships are $120 per family or $60 per person. Builder members help to support new projects that demonstrate easy and affordable growing and building solutions to being more sustainable.  These projects help to further reduce the Farm's reliance on fossil fuel and provide working examples of steps we can all take towards living more sustainably.  Recent projects include building a composting toilet system, a passive solar microshelter, and a solar dehydrator for preserving food.

Working at the Farm:  Members at either level may chose to offer regular work in exchange for all or some portion of their dues with each hour of work counting as $10.  Please indicate your interest in being a working member below on the member registration form and use the donation link (below) for any part of your dues that you wish to pay.

Donations:  If you are unable to take part in Farm activities or programming but would like to support our mission, we are happy to accept donations of any amount using this link.

We’ve chosen a membership structure to broaden and deepen community connections by encouraging people to become part of a collaborative project.  By working together, playing together, learning together and celebrating together, being part of Wild Goose Farm will contribute to deep and lasting friendships.

We operate currently as a not-for-profit organization under an LLC status. Membership dues, whether in money or time, are kept reasonable and affordable and will be entirely directed to supporting the maintenance, upkeep and expansion of the farm’s offerings for the membership and the community. By offering the opportunity to work in exchange for membership, we hope to be accessible and welcoming to all.

We’d love for you to join us.
